theBODI.es / theBODIES.de decided to send themselves into hiatus.
Sabbatical…? No, not really as whatever event might arise that makes
us relevant to fight global emptiness we will be back again!

We are back! Well, still not on stage – but back in the studio. After an exhausting 2011 some of us rearranged their professions and graduated. We took a time off stage, beacause of the incredible momentum of creativity.

Today was the first opportunity to introduce to you our new soon to be released album
LIVE! We had big fun at the MuseumsUferFest 2011 Frankfurt at the ‘Frankfurter Rundschau’
stage premiering our album ‘we DON’T care’ LIVE. We even played a new cover in the what
we think is the correct speed and power with ‘Axel’ Cumalot singing. G’n'R will wonder having
never played ‘Don’t Cry’ that way….
Anyway, the new songs as well some of the oldies thundered into Frankfurt’s early evening
sky of a dark massive wall of clouds waiting for us until we stop playing to enload in a big storm
and fat rainfall afterwards…. Even upper powers respect us!
Album release early October!!!

Derek meets Howie Weinberg 05aug11

Yesterday Deddy and me, we came back from our adventurous trip from SanFran and LA!
Deddy cleaned up the vintage guitar market of the WestCoast! Yes, he now ownes them all,
the most wonderful items, please check www.guitarpoint.de!
And me? I had the honour to be welcomed by Howie, who introduced me into his world of studio
work the Mastering, his grill place behind his studio hacienda, as well the best Mexican Bar in
Beverly Hills. And I was lucky having him introduced into some typical German dark herb liquor,
no, not the one with the dear on the cover, no, Keiler’s is the real thing!!!
Howie is a real friend and we are so happy we could win him to do the mastering of our new album!
…and as Howie promissed: ‘You will love it!’ …yes, WE LOVE IT and yes, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Experiencing Heroes pt.100711
Gregg Allman Band 10Jul11 in Bonn… Gregg, the blues legend, back in Germany
after incredible long 20years…
He is one of last of the very few white legends, who can sing the Blues!
What a brilliant concert with special guests Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks,
his Band mate in the Allman Brothers Band. Young RJ was fully impressed
about what blues all can do and has checked since about the roots of Rock’nRoll.
Gregg and his band played a magic gig with everything an Allman fan loves!
An extraordinary performance of Gregg, who unluckily got seriously ill 2 days later
being hospitalized here in Germany…an after-effect of his operation last year?
Hopefully he will recover very soon!
We wish him all the best… Our ‘Bloos’ song is for you, Gregg, come on and
rock on!
