ATTENTION ‘New Album’ ….confirmed and very busy!

As already announced, theBODI.es are in the studio being super busy finalising last vocals and overdubs!

Plans have changed significantly as the most likely release is scheduled for mid November 2012 (!)
on ‘Art Of June Recordings’ ……against all usual behaviour to delay!

Engenieer and producer is of course again Heinz Hess, our meanwhile BODI.family member. His studio ‘Art Of
June Studios’ is our second home for our second album incl the second song! ….and surely surprises are included
as usual!

With the working title ‘OF WHAT’ the album will contain twelve tracks and one hidden (…the real corporate idendity!),
hotter, faster, slower, louder, calmer as ever before with zynism and sarkasm, love and hate, darkness and sunshine,
blood and wine, tears and beer dictating the major themes…

Our first album ‘we DON’t care’ having crossed all borders, the new album will enter a new dimension!
Colt has even written a blues, a bloody blues, and you will not believe Ringo, sorry, Harry celebrates
his vocals to one track. Charles teaches Axl, Slash ‘n’ Roses how to perform the real ballad and Derek?
He bites with blistering acrimony like glowing razor blades!

…don’t miss it as you will never missed it ANYMORE!

We are back! Well, still not on stage – but back in the studio. After an exhausting 2011 some of us rearranged their professions and graduated. We took a time off stage, beacause of the incredible momentum of creativity.

Today was the first opportunity to introduce to you our new soon to be released album
LIVE! We had big fun at the MuseumsUferFest 2011 Frankfurt at the ‘Frankfurter Rundschau’
stage premiering our album ‘we DON’T care’ LIVE. We even played a new cover in the what
we think is the correct speed and power with ‘Axel’ Cumalot singing. G’n'R will wonder having
never played ‘Don’t Cry’ that way….
Anyway, the new songs as well some of the oldies thundered into Frankfurt’s early evening
sky of a dark massive wall of clouds waiting for us until we stop playing to enload in a big storm
and fat rainfall afterwards…. Even upper powers respect us!
Album release early October!!!

Sade 12may11 in Frankfurt… The Lady… The Beauty… The Muse… The Unreachable!
..you still have the chance to see her live this year as she is on World Tour and will
come back to Germany in November again.

For Derek, the hard one, this concert was one of the most beautiful music experiences
ever. A perfect show, a band, which harmonizes in perfection with the soul, sensitivity
and power of an outstanding singer! …and she looks so pretty… a tattoo worth?

The album will undergo the last treatment… the mastering!
…and RJ busy in creativity of the artwork!

11mar2011 – Experiencing Heroes pt. XVIII

Finally they were back again in Frankfurt as meanwhile every year since
1999, the famous and ever glorious UK Subs!

You all know, that their influences moved and motivated bands like us,
Henry Rollins Band, Guns’n’ Roses, Nirvana, Die Toten Hosen and who
ever else on this planet….!

And believe me they haven’t lost anything…. I saw them first in 1981 in
Hamburg performing with the famous 2nd classic line-up with Charlie,
Nicky, Alvin and Steven…. and us here on the Continent/Germany, we
are ultra-happy welcoming nearly the same line-up with only Jamie, the
better choice(!), on drums.

Every year I bring my friends to them and all of them they now understand,
why the UK Subs mean some much to me and the likes like Henry Rollins!
…and look at young RJ, already fully UK Subs addicted, heavily pogoing
to the meanwhile beyond Ramones-status classics like ‘Rocker’, Tomorrows
Girls’, Endagered Species’, ‘Ice Age’, ‘Emotinal Blackmail’, ‘Warhead’ or
‘Limo Life’ ….you say think I have forgotten to mention ‘Stranglehold’? Why
should I forget it as everybody knows it is their ‘Yesterday’ of the Beatles.
….and look at the fans, again here similar to our friends of Killing Joke, you
will find so many young kids, especially girlies, you really wonder, aren’t
there other youger bands around, which could attract…’no, they say the
Original being authentic to the last second, being guys really down to
earth, that’s the real thing!’

So, I massively urge you to attend next year’s show sometime between
January and March 2012 and you will be impacted and happy to have
experienced body and soul treatment with full satisfaction!

Album release is comming closer / the baby got its name

Now we hold the first mixes of the first seven songs in our hands.

Well, it’s going to be a mind blowing Rock music masterpiece.
Thanks to the Art of June mastermind Heinz Hess for his patience with us…
This album can compete against publications like ZZ Top, Henry Rollins, Killing Joke, U.K. Subs, Godsmack and many more with ease.

Furthermore the baby got its name: “WE DON’T CARE”

Rectifier Experience

My first near contact with an Mesa Boogie Rectifier was mind blowing! There was a german band from Koblenz, which was playing here in Frankfurt at Elfer. The kind of music these dudes – the band called Six Reasons To Kill – were playing was not realy my thing, but the the guitar sound was f*****g awesome! I walked near to the stage and I saw exactly what I was expecting to see: an Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier! The sound was HUGE, riffs was coming out of it like huge fists in the face! F*****g brutal and tight. The clean sound was brilliant and clear! This kept going on and on, till the end of the gig.

After this awesome sound manifest was over, I had to do it, I had to ask the guitarist how does he gets this awesome sound out of this diamond plated monster! I was expecting to see Tubescreamers, boosters and all these stuff in front of the amp, but none of them was there. Just the naked amp! I was petrified! This HUGE sound with just an amp and a guitar. This was it, I knew I had to get one of those monsters and guess what, I have one now…. a Triple Rectifier!
